Might be the kop of another team?

I'd love to see flares become a "mainstream" thing in England, but they won't ever be I don't think. Wasn't a flare let off at Old Trafford vs Ajax the other day?

And to help continue the thread, York City @ Wembley Stadium.

Not mainstream because people are more than likely scared to get banned for simply letting one off.

As with smoke bombs.

Flares, IMO, ain't British. It's us yet again trying to imitate those Euro-Ultras. FacePalm

I have seen a few in my time - can't remember which teams let them off though, may have been Aldershot.

Smoke bomb but ah well.

My mate tried to bring a smoke bomb in to Rochdale but got caught as all our 'youth' tried to bring some in as well so he got arrested but got off with it.

Middlesborough at Burton. The lad was 17 who set this off and got banned for 3 years.

Wigan banned 17 fans for this above flare..

17 fans? That's probably their vocal support so Wigan are even more fucked.

Exactly what i thought.

Apparently all life time as well which is fucking ridiculous how can you ban 17 fans? The lad who set it off was fucking 16 as well! Wigan trying to keep there 'family club' reputation.

Nothing to do with this but a guy in the Red Faction ultras at Middlesborough got banned till the rest of the season for standing on a chair. Doh

Football is getting beyond ridiculous.

Definitely, clip round the ear will do for such minor incidents, move on, unless they're hardcore fucking hooligans.

Fucking amazing, love 'em. I know the lad that got them into the Manchester Derby, his mate set them off and they weren't even arsed he said. Whats the problem with them? Adds to the atmosphere and looks class.

I let a flare off in my back garden once, fucking horrific. I thought it would be like an extra bright candle, but no, it would blind all the old cunts at Torquay.

Smoke bombs > Flares > Danny Dyer > Matt Whelan

Villa let a fair few smoke bombs off at Wigan yesterday.
Seem to hear every week of a smoke bomb/ flare being let off somewhere.
